Resting and Recovering

I’ve ended up having an extended rest period this week. I’ve bruised my elbow quite badly and it hurts to put weight through it or to twist it. Not majorly but enough that I know that I need to rest it more that I would if I went to yoga. I’m meant to be taking part in the next Urban Triathlon on Saturday but if I’m still as sore then I’m not sure I’ll be able to do the yoga part of it.

I mean it sounds ridiculous, yoga is the part that I can do. It’s the running and spin that are meant to be a challenge! Sigh! I would just like for it not to have been so much of a challenge but we’ll see. I don’t want to cause longer term damage by putting weight through it before it’s ready to.

I guess I’ll need to make a call on how it is tomorrow and not do it if I’m still in pain.
