Sleeping in Savasana

My yoga journey

I feel like I haven’t done yoga in forever. I’m still full of the cold and my elbow is playing up again. I know that I just need to make the effort and get back on the mat but it’s difficult making that first step again. 

It’s also been a year since some pretty awful times last year so I think I need to start getting out of my head and clearing my thoughts on a regular basis again. 

My aim for the next week is to practice at home at least once and to head to one class even if I don’t manage it all.

    Don’t be hard on yourself! illness and injury need taking care of. Maybe just start really small at home just doing whatever simple moves you feel like and aim to stay there for just 10 minutes. Once you’re back on the mat the practice will take care of itself (injury permitting) and you’ll get back into your groove! Look after yourself!
