Ugh! After a week of being full of the cold and missing a bus so not doing yoga, I made it back on my mat over the weekend. It was really good to push myself and make it to three classes over two days. However last night my hip started playing up. It wasn’t sore at the time or I would have stopped but afterwards it was spasming.
I didn’t get much sleep as it’s really hard to get comfortable without moving my hip. This morning it was super tight and sore. I managed to get a same day doctors appointment (yay NHS!) to see my GP. I’ve either pulled a muscle or trapped a nerve. Either way the main treatment is painkillers and rest.
This is my current cocktail of drugs that are to help me get to sleep tonight.
It’s still quite sore and I’m hoping that it’ll ease off overnight and I might be able to walk up a flight of stairs without needing to stop to take a few deep breaths. Either was I think I’ll be having a few days off yoga.
Oh boo. Sorry to hear you’re out of action. Take good rest and slowly does it. Hope you can sleep tonight x
