My hip is slowly getting better and this weekend I was sensible and stayed at home. I was due to be heading to Germany for a weekend of training but as I can’t land or do anything high impact it seemed sensible to not go. Instead I took the time to look after myself. 

On Friday I spent the afternoon in the spa with a friend. It was lovely and good to get a massage and to relax. The afternoon tea was also very yummy.  

On Saturday the theme of relaxing continued with a morning doing yoga (and not worrying about others) followed by bowling then playing board games with a lovely group of friends. 

Sunday morning involved some gentle yoga and some good handstands 

Then lunch with friends and a nice walk in the sunshine before heading to ashtanga class in the evening. 

It was much more relaxed and involved lots more eating that my training weekend would have but it was a really nice weekend and gave me time to catch up with people I hadn’t seen for ages too.
