Step Back to move forward

Today I am being a grown up and sensible. I’m having a few days off classes and resting my hip. It’s slowly getting better and I’m now not on any painkillers. Which means that it’s sore but manageable. I went on a lovely long walk on Sunday but it maybe was a bit too long. 

I’m going to attempt to go to Bikram class tomorrow night but if  my hip is still as sore as it is tonight then I’ll give it a miss. It’s quite difficult for me to not do as much as I want to but I know it’s what I need long term to get fully better.

    yoga teaches patience right? even in ways we don’t want. maybe this is the opportunity to strengthen your meditation practice instead? 🙂
