Sleeping in Savasana

My yoga journey

Om Yoga Show Glasgow

on April 2, 2016

Today I headed through to Glasgow to go to the Om Yoga Show. It was really fun and nice to met some stall holders/small businesses owners and see new products. However most of the products that were interesting were food, rather than yoga things.

The classes were also quite good. I went to two taster classes, dru yoga which was a bit odd, and a flow class that the teacher didn’t turn up to so they got someone to cover at 3 minutes notice so it was abit chaotic and not that planned. Still fun though.

Vita Coco were giving tastes of all the flavours of coconut water they do and selling them quite cheaply (£2.50 for 1litre).

We had a look in the hot pod but as I didn’t have a change of clothes didn’t do a class.

There were some very pretty yoga mats. But quite expensive and I think the four I already own might be enough for now.

The open classes were good even if in the middle of everything.

I also got to meet AcroYoga Dance who I think I’ve done a workshop with before. I ended up doing handstands and hand to hand which my physio will probably tell me off for next week.

I’m now reading the magazine and drinking a coffee while waiting for my friend to get out her final class.
