Attempting to eat well

August in Edinburgh is always a challenge for normal life. There is always a show to go to, food grabbed on the way, too many people in the city so the good choices are often sold out. 

I’ve been mindful that I have not made good choices over the past two weeks. My aim for the next week is to use up things that I’ve already made or have in my house. I have lots of random meals in the freezer that I am aiming to use up. I have things that I’m not a hundred percent sure what they are but I know I made it and that it’s wholesome. I tend to have put at least one extra portion of soup or stew in the freezer on a weekly basis for the last few months. Plus it’ll give me some more room in the freezer for some new batch cooking once I’m not so busy.

I’m not sure how I’m going to manage with snacks as I’ve only got some dried fruit and nuts that I’ve been putting off eating. It’s going to be an interesting week, I’m aiming to buy some more milk and that’s it.
