Bed Yoga

No not that type of bed yoga but yoga in bed. In my aim to do more regular yoga that doesn’t aggravate my hip, I’ve started doing a few yoga stretches in bed before I get up. As ever my go to place for inspiration is Yoga By Candace.

She’s posted a couple of bed yoga videos and the one that I did this morning was a very gentle 10 minute Neck, Shoulders and Arms workout. It’s been a really busy week and today was my last day at work before heading away for Christmas tomorrow so it was a good way to start today. It was a really nice  gentle way to start moving and getting ready to get out of bed.

I’ve downloaded a few videos to my ipad to do while I’m away. I’m aiming for at least 20 minutes of yoga every day while I’m away and I’ve packed my very thin travel mat to that I can do this . I’m also very lucky in that it’ll be warm enough to hopefully practice at least some of the time outside.
